• Support and development of many locally-written packages, including graphics, database and accounting.
• Installation and support of software from manufacturer and other academic sites.
• Operating System (TOPS-10) support and modification.
• Technical advice to Installation Manager and User Support Group.
• Participation in early ANF-10 networking experiments, between UMIST, Edinburgh University and Rutherford Laboratories.
