FreeBSD on Raspberry PI (take 4)

I'm pretty sure a lot of the time it takes a PI to recompile itself must be down to the slow SD card, so I've hooked up a couple of old USB drives to another PI. I'm going to mirror them, and chuck everything except the boot code there.

I didn't have suitable drives at home, so I've taken the liberty of, um, borrowing a couple I found lying around at work.

Greetings from the Burble Bin.

It's not much to look at, but it seems to do the job.

Or does it?

Here lies the archive of my mind.

I began this blog several years ago.

Isolated from social media due to a complex entanglement of real and imaginary threats to my person, my career and my pet cat, I needed a repository for my thoughts. What I'd forgotten is that I rarely have any worth writing down.

In these times of austerity, I'm very lucky to have a rolling contract with XenoPsyche, Inc. It's up for renewal in 2016, and I'm pretty sure they're not happy with my work. I must tell the world what I've learned, and this blog seemed best the way to do that.

Sadly, it's fallen into disuse. Nobody reads it, and I hardly ever update it.
